There are many things to be thankful for: one is Andy’s 47th birthday (see his previous post) and the other is getting to San Francisco on the worst travel day ever.

I spent over an hour in the security line at Logan Airport in Boston early this morning because airport security decided No Liquids on Flights. Except they did a terrible job informing people who were checking in luggage. Fortunately someone with a small sign was walking around telling people to check in all their liquids. Problem with this solution is that not everyone saw her with her tiny sign.

Now why didn’t they just quickly post large signs right by the check in counters so people could in fact do that, instead of being surprised by the new rule just as they are going through security? How are people who woke up at 6am and did not check the latest breaking news from London supposed to know that liquids (except breast milk) are now suspect materials?

Never mind. I am in SF for a month and hope to see all my friends again.
