Listen to this short podcast about the Barcelona-Liverpool match, in particular the pressure upon Barça manager, Frank Rijkaard. Even though Barça is at the top of the Spanish league, the fans are not happy with the way they are playing (too boring apparently).

There are hundreds of Liverpool fans in Barcelona decked out in team colors, crowding in pubs (thanks to cheap flights from Easyjet). Let’s hope they don’t get violent this evening.

A tip for when you are in Barcelona: if you like beer, some cafes serve beer at breakfast with “bocadillos” (sandwiches) and coffee. Apparently a lot of locals (mostly men) enjoy this sort of breakfast before going off to work.
