The European Commission’s latest detailed report on the EU telecommunications market shows that there are more mobile phones than citizens in the EU. The fastest growing segment is broadband, but Commissioner Viviane Reding says a lot of work still needs to be done. She wants structural separation between network infrastructure and services, and an FCC-style regulator.
