I am testing various DIY social networking sites, specifically the ones that let you roll your own. To start, I decided on Crowdvine and created the Food and Travel Group. It’s not open to everyone. I will select who gets in, like the obnoxious doorman at a London club. I want people who have tastebuds and travel a lot. I am looking for fellow foodies who are feel like jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge when they get a microwaved croissant. I got one recently in a downtown San Francisco cafe (in the Financial District).
