This just came in (11:14pm Amsterdam time): Rasmussen was kicked out of the Tour by Rabobank. He said he was training in Mexico when the UCI couldn’t find him but apparently, he was training in the Dolomites in Italy. Not sure yet if the entire Rabobank team will leave the Tour.

Rasmussen was on his way to winning so now it appears Contador will probably be the Tour winner this year.

Every day we are treated to videos of the French police raiding the living quarters of the suspected teams: first Astana, then Cofidis this afternoon and just this evening, they raided the hotel rooms where the Rabobank team is staying in Pau.
